A simple visualisation tool to help assist learning Formation Skydiving.
A random generator of FS moves/commands - turns, sideslides, forwards & backwards and slow & fast fall.
This doesn’t show the required body position, it challenges you to recall that position as quickly as possible and imagine yourself making the manoeuvre happen.
While I was working torwards my FS qualification I found myself "practicing" even when away from the tunnel and DZ.. just imagining making manoeuvres and the body positions needed.
I built a basic version of this tool to challenge myself with random moves every few seconds.
Just watch the screen and imagine making the body position required to execute the command shown.
The aim is to make the body positions more instinctive, to develop muscle memory.
You can spend as much time as you like visualising moves, anywhere you want; home, office, train, etc.
And you don't have to just visualise things either, you could actually get on the floor or a table and actually move your arms and legs about too!
I think it helped me, so thought I’d make it available to all, just in case it can help anyone else.
It’s probably not for everyone, there’s a good chance it may just be for me!
